Miniature Paintings Gallery

The gallery exhibits miniature paintings with events from the Ramayan, the Mahabharat, the life of Lord Krishna as weil as those of the different gods and goddesses, Mughal and Maratha rulers and their chieffains. Prominent among these are the paintings of Barahmasa based on Krishna-Radha and Rag-Raginis.
The paintings depicting the performance of Shradhkarma of emperor Dashrath, Ahilya Uddhar, Sita Swayamwar, Bharat Milap, Barahmasa, scenes from the Mahabharat, Badwanal, Dwarika Santhagar and ivory-made pictures of Akbar and Maharaja Ranjit Singh have special importance.
These paintings are mainiy in Rajput, Maratha and Mughal styles. Paintings of Pahadi, Kangda, Kota, Bundi, Nathdwara etc. are also exhibited here.
