TALA ( 1985-86)
The Department of Archaeology, M.P. Gov!. exposed the remains of lethani
temple at Tala, Dist. Bilaspur, which has a large, simple but typical
design. Among the antiquities unearthed included silver coin of Prasannamatra,
copper coin of Ratnadeva, iron objects like arrow-wheads, spearhead,
sickle, fish-hook, terracotta objects and pieces of sculpture. From
the river bank microliths were also picked up.
